Recently I bought MAGIX Music Maker 15, and I'm really disapointed. I followed the entry link to get the Content Packs 01, 02, 03, and 04.

Hydrowave inground pool pop-ups

After saving them, I tried importing them into the Soundpool section by clicking 'Add Styles.' For some reason it didnt pop up. I went down and choose 'All Files.'

in the drop down box and it showed up so I selected it and clicked OK. But at the bottom of the screen it said 'The database is empty. Please insert a MAGIX Soundpool medium'. What is that??

I am amshamed that I even bought this! In the video I saw, 'Benjamin' said this should be easy.

We'll I've been up for 8 hours trying to figure this out!! And its the weekend so I can't call for Customer Support.

I spent $104.99 on a product that doesnt even work?! And after checking out the site, I can see MAGIX has done nothing about this. Someone, please tell me what im doing wrong and how to fix this! I also spent hours getting the online version of MM 15 to work. You have to install the program first, then open up all the zipped content packs in order, installing one after the other. (If you've got al this installed already you should try uninstalling it all first, and starting from scratch). PS The content packs install themselves all over your PC hard drive, which is what confused me - they don't go into one nice neat folder.

I tried to move them all during points of install because I thought MM15 wasn't 'finding' them. But the bottom line is that it knows what it's doing and you have to install them all in order. Don't even bother opening the MM15 program until everything is completely installed.

But once it is you should be able to open it up and your Soundpools will be there - worked for me. I also had trouble getting Vita files to work, and I still haven't figured out how to get Revolta files to work (can see the files but can't play them). Maybe there are some other questions in here somewhere about getting those to run - I think I fluked the Vita and I have no idea how I did it. Hello, here you find a general description how to download and install the sounds into MAGIX Music Maker. In order to be able to download synthesizers and sound packs, the following steps will have to be completed once. Proceed as follows: - 1. To be able to use Soundpools during the test phase, please download part of the content for free.

Click the following path in the program to do so: 'Help' - 'Update program / upgrade function' - 'Download free synthesizers and soundpackets.' Download the content to your PC (if multiple content packs are offered, then it is recommended that all content packs are integrated into MAGIX Music Maker.) - 3. After downloading is completed, navigate on your PC to the downloaded file and open it by double clicking.

The sound pack will now be installed. Open MAGIX Music Maker and click the button 'Add styles' in the Soundpool (this button is not visible in Easy mode). Navigate to the MAGIX Music Maker program directory. For normal program installations this will be 'C - Programs - MAGIX - Music Maker'. Select the 'Basics' folder and confirm with OK.

Restart the program. All of the sounds will now be imported and available immediately after program start. After activating or purchasing the program, the remaining content will be able to be downloaded for free.

Best regards, MAGIX Music Maker Team. Horriably frustrated!

I have uninstalled MM15 then Re-Installed it, and now I'm confused. I reinstalled it. Here's my question. ON THE RE-INSTALL should I not include the Music and install the Music seperately. Because I have duplications now, some music works, some do not. AND I also have the Soundpool DVD Collection 16 to contend with. If I Install it, it comes up with a seperate pannel and all, what's up with this?

Pool Pop When Empty

I really want to get to work here. I Love when I can get a song done, but really this is difficult.

Hello, I am having the same problem. The first installation was successful, but I had duplicate programs and soundpools but I upgraded.

Long story short I uninstalled MM15 and reinstalled it. After all that time MM15 had problems locating the sound pools. Here's what I did. Go to Start Search Type in Magix then search 'EVERYWHERE.'

Delete anything Magix related. Even any save files. If you want to keep your save files then transfer them to another computer. I would restart the computer. That being said.

Turn off all antivirus and firewall. Now after that download MM15 from scratch and install it.

I DID NOT CLICK RUN. I SAVED THE FILE THEN RUN IT. WHICH IS WHY I ASKED YOU TO TURN OFF VIRUS SCAN AND FIREWALL. If you have a CD then go ahead and install it. At this point my soundpool was clear, which was a sight I never thought I'd see. It was amazing.

Now activate your product. After it restarts itself then click on the link to obtain your soundpool content packets. After you see all four packets available for download then you can go ahead and shut down MAGIX. I downloaded all four packets at once, yet again I saved them to disk rather then running it. Note: don't move any of the files after you save them.

It may cause problems. I mean like don't ever move them. Lol I wouldn't risk it. After they are downloaded install them one by one. Do not open MAGIX at all during any of the installations. If you have problems obtaining the packets then keep trying.

MAGIXs' site has: abnormal, celestial, concealed, dark, fabulous, fairy, ghostly, heavenly, hidden, impenetrable, invisible, legendary, metaphysical, miraculous, mystic, mythical, mythological, numinous, obscure, occult, paranormal, phantom, phenomenal, preternatural, psychic, rare, secret, spectral, superhuman, superior, supermundane, superordinary, supranatural, transcendental, uncanny, uncomprehensible, unearthly, unfathomable, unintelligible, unknowable, unknown, unnatural, unrevealed, unusual problems. That's right. All of the above. Now after all that it worked! I had one copy of MM15 on my computer AND I had one copy of soundpools in MM15! Put the gun away!

Sweet beautiful sound coming from my speakers! IT WORKS! If you have any questions feel free to send a message my way. I'm in the same boat as many of the other posters. I purchased Magic Maker 15, as well as Sound Essentials vol. 6, and both worked.

In the past MM 15 would get stuck at the media pool loading phase and I would have to manually shut it down through Task Manager. Upon re-starting it the program would work again (most of the time). No longer sadly.

I don't know if it has to do with a recent Microsof update to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, but the damn thing won't load at all now. It was working 2-3 days ago. I'm getting a bit fed-up with Magix's product to be frank and I am not impressed with the programming. It's a wonderful system to mix music with but the stability is subpar and I will not be buying anymore Magix products if this is what I have to look forward to. Dear all, To tell you guys the truth, nothing is wrong with the software, it’s a great application. I have been using the FL Studio since its birth, but comparing this application with FL Studio, it is much easier to learn and more or less it gives you the same result with less effort. To make my lecture short, don’t get disappointed, please follow my instruction and you guys will have a happy ending.

All soundpool files are located in C: Program Files MAGIX MusicMaker16PremiumDownloadVersion Basic16 Now, open The MAGIX Music Maker 16 application: Click Add Styles. And a window will appear which will say select a directory which contains styles. Within that window, navigate in the look in selection. C: Program Files MAGIX MusicMaker16PremiumDownloadVersion Basic16 Now click the OK button at the lower right side of the window and you will see add styles window is in progress.

Close the application and reopen it. That’s it folks a happy ending, and don’t forget to pass your new found knowledge to someone else. I can't get any of the soundpools to play unless I insert the dvd, and when I did that I imported, and saved all the pools to my hard drive, and in the program settings I have the path set exactly to where i saved them to. The way I work around this, cause I have limited time, and don't feel like wasting time trying to figure this out, cause it gets too frustrating, instead of clicking on the sound pool tab, I click on the file browser tab, and the sound pools play when I do this, and I even can add them into the tracks. But any time I click on the uploaded sound pools from the dvd that came with the package, it tells me to ' To use the whatever kit C.wav insert the medium 'spDVDcol19' and repeat the process' Very frustrating after I imported and saved, restarted program, restarted computer, and still same results. I have't tried to re-install the program yet, and I might if I get around to it, but I found the way around, and I just clickl on the file browser tab, and they all load when I do that, so it works for me.

I have Music Maker live 2016, AND i downloaded the free version from a magix site online and nowhere do i see any easymode switches anywhere. Also i noticed alot of troubleshooting techniques just dont work for my version, and the manuel has an over abundance (I don’t wanna say usless), of information that has absolutely zero effect nor relavence towards any or all solutions i have been chasing. Sorry, i kinda lied when i said quick question.

Can you help me enjoy full use of my product?
