Download Message from the. 81st Grand Alumni Souvenir Program. It is with great honor and pleasure that I welcome you to the Adamson University Alumni.

The dance floor blazed with fire as our batchmates girated and flexed their bodies with the moving disco lights and loud whispers between pairs to catch up for long 'what-have-beens and what's news.' Tess Dalluay rendered 'High school life' once more to recall our graduation song and what had been in those times.

There were names unrecalled but faces that could not be forgotten despite the age and years since 1981. Indeed there are those who grow old gracefully, still with traces of beauty and handsomeness.others are victims of Time but have not lost the enthusiasm to grow younger in ways cynics would have not noticed.

Others have stayed with a sense of coy as if still in their teens.just like the old days, they remain the spectators, quietly enjoying the sight and the on-goings, yet went home filled with delight and bliss that mattered that night.to see one another, or at the least to give one another brief glances to remember the person that was.and 'now' what has become of that person. The 30th (PEARL) Anniversary and Homecoming of Batch '81 shall be held on June (Sat evening for Gala Night/Dinner & Sunday - Family/Picnic Day). Venue shall be announced later since it shall be booked one month before the set date. To serve as a chronicle of this momentous event, a souvenir program shall be published.

In this regard, we request for your greetings and compliments for inclusion in the said program. Batchmates are also advised to submit their memorabilia/photos for possible inclusion in the said souvenir program. Proceeds or income generated from this project shall be used for PC donations (requested by St. James School thru Sister Rosa, the principal and Miss Ducos). We look forward to your unending support to this endeavor.

Most probably the ad prices here are OK. Based on the solicitation letter I have now, the price is up to Php 7,000 for Full page only, what more with the hard glossy backcover and inside back/front cover? So I think the prices are reasonable. How time flies! It seems like yesterday that we were asked to write “Where do you see yourself in 10 years?” Frankly, it was kind of hard for me to envision myself that far along and here we are now celebrating our silver anniversary. If you equate with financial or professional achievements, you can call Batch ’81 a successful one. Engineers, doctors, teachers, lawyers, entrepreneurs – you name it we have it.

Most of us are successful in our chosen fields. What I am most proud about this batch though is the care and concern we have shown for each other.

Sample Souvenir Program Message

Time and time again this batch had responded magnificently to a tragedy, some needs of a batch mate or even just selling ticket. Everybody is ever ready to share their time, talent and those more fortunate ones, their treasure too to any friend in need. Yes, we have our shares of petty quarrels and controversies – but who doesn’t have any? We all have our own idiosyncrasies but what’s most important is how we are able to set these aside and lend a helping hand. This is what defines this batch and I am honored to be part of it.

Remember, we also share in good times and cheer each other’s achievements. So on the occasion of our 25th anniversary, let’s celebrate! I’m looking forward to seeing old familiar faces, relieve shared memories, listen and laugh to same old jokes and of course get updates from all of you. We’ve come a long way and still looking good in our 40’s More power and good luck to everybody. Peace and Love Laarni Medroso – Huerta Family Day Atin Beach Subic, Zambales. I wish to convey my sincerest and deepest appreciation to all those who in many ways have shown interest and enthusiasm in organizing the alumni association of Batch ’81. We were nurtured and molded by St.

James High School in the Light of genuine dedication and commitment to prepare us for what we have now. We chose our destinies and careers. It would be futile to blame others for what we have become; instead we should be thankful for the educational and academic support we got from our mentors and administrators. The Spiritual aspect of our lives were honed and polished as we underwent retreats and series of positive and constructive scolding.

Our teacher could only wonder in awe as we unfold the kind of life and career we have made for ourselves. I only wish that there will be no material assessment as to how much we have now or how higher we get in life, but let us be measured by the way we lead our life and how we manifest faith, humility, charity, and love for others, our family and parents. Altruism is the highest degree of integrity. I believe that our batch has shown how much we care for our classmates and our Alma Mater.

We remember St. James because that is the only way to remember ourselves back in high school. The memories linger with cheerful smiles on our faces, As much as we would like to reach out for the rest of the batch who decided not to show themselves in our presence, we could only wish and pray that they too, who would not be with us in our reunion and in our future assemblies as Batch ’81, would eventually realize that they are significant members of Batch ’81.

I thank those who extended help and assistance to Jorge and Romeo. I know that you could have helped other batch mates if only you were contacted and informed of their whereabouts when they were in dire need. I can only admire the sense of generosity and kindness of those who keep on helping other batch mates in need. Quietly, they offer the gift of Love, No charades, No travesties, No publicities, No fireworks. I pray for the souls of those who already left us and joined our Divine Father. I am sure that is the ultimate venue for our reunion in God, with all our goodness and deep spirituality. Finally, I thank those who supported the Batch ’81 reunion – the donors, sponsors, relatives and friends.

Batch mates, Keep the life in us alive! To God be the Glory. Ariel Lansang Silver Homecoming:25 years of Retrospection Hawaiian Garden and Resort Subic, Zambales April 16, 2006. Hello Everybody, I want to share with you the feelings I have had on the days we have been together in Lake Tahoe. I was really very happy all those times that we were together, exchanging jokes and sharing laughters, recalling our Saint James days and not forgetting those who were not with us.

Souvenir program message

Everybody, with your families, didnt fall our dream. S of making this reunion a very memorable one.

Indeed, our Lake Tahoe days is 'an affair to remember' making it difficult for all of us to say goodbye. I guess this reunion will commence our keeping in touch with one another. To all of you, I have countless of things to be proud of and countless thoughtfulness and caring to thank for. You are very special students and you deserved to be loved and to be cherished.

I Love you all and once again. THANK YOU ALL for everything!

Take care and keep in touch. Ma'm Pura Batch 81 Reunion Lake Tahoe, CA July 20, 2002. Thank you and welcome back to reviving the spirit of our high school life at Saint James High School. For those of you who are first time to attend this reunion, we guarantee that you will cherish these moments and treasure these memories someday. We experienced that the previous event was very memorable and exciting, and that triggers the unificat. Ion and development of the second one.

San Diego is hosting this event. San Diego Sunny Girls, in collaboration with Desperate Wives of Bay Area, made this event possible. We wish also to extend a special note of welcome and of gratitude to those classmates who are in a reunion year and most of whom are going to be with us this coming event. We have been blessed, in the 28 years that we have had to be part of the circulation. Our constant communication has made us closer even though some of us live far away. Fellow time travelers, by sheer will power we’ve turned back calendar to 1981.

It was a difficult thing we couldn’t rewind the time machine because our magical powers are limited. But we have technology to revive and remember, and see ourselves somewhere in time-4 Virgo, Pisces, Sagittarius, Libra, Aquarius and Aries. But the wizardry of 1981 brought us back intact.

For some of us, this is the first time voyage to 1981. I confessed how we prepared for it. I pulled down the class yearbook and flipped through the pages, just looking at the pictures of us- our class. It was a test. Many people could I recognize by their faces.

I was able to pin names on just few. One of them wasn’t me. But, gradually, a tickle of memories became a river, immersing me in flood of recollection—all pleasant. Time has mercifully erased any unpleasant ones. As we look back, and remember a brief but wonderful time we spent together, we also bring with us our hearts and share the blessings God gave to us. We extend our hands when one of us needs to be reached out –in some way. We are lucky.

Our batch is very lucky. There is actually high percentage of successful students in our class in general. Our destiny has lifted us up to where we belong. This is also the reason why we are all scattered all over here and abroad. But in our reunion, we will become one again. This will be the chance to recall and learn again. And that learning is a fun-filled experience worthy of rememberingthat has built a solid foundation far beyond ordinary friendship.

I thank everybody for this gathering. God bless you all. Giron Batch 81 Reunion Sa America Chula Vista, California July 18-19, 2009.
